However, they were really time-consuming since they needed to be hand-rolled gently. I think next year (or maybe sooner if my fiancé gets his way), I'm going to experiment and try to make a quinoa kugel - use the same recipe as the balls but spread it out in a square baking dish and bake it, let it cool, and then slice squares or diamonds for people to put in soup.
